Kaduna state indigenes schooling in various higher institutions across the country have vowed to vote out Governor Nasir El-Rufai in the coming elections if their bursaries are not paid.
Staging a peaceful protest in Kaduna, the students said they were demanding the payment of their bursaries as schools have resumed, so they can pay their school fees.
One of the leaders of the group, Jeremiah Tisan-Gwaza, lamented that despite the purported approval of the payment of all scholarship bursaries to students, nothing has been given to them.

Mr Gwaza, however, appealed to the governor to come to the aid of the students and ensure that the students get their payments.
Also Speaking, another leader of the group, Suraj Abubakar, told newsmen that the protest was not under the banner of any student association, but by all students of Kaduna State irrespective of any group.
According to Mr Abubakar, if the government do not meet their demands before Friday, 1 February 2019, the students would embark on massive protest across the state.
“lf by Friday, we do not see or hear anything, we will mobilize students from all the states of the federation and converge in Kaduna with no scholarship, no vote for Nasir El Rufai,” Mr Abubakar added.
