Organisers of the 43rd Kaduna International Trade Fair have assured exhibitors and customers of safety during the fair.
Head of Security of the Fair, Jibril Hassan gave the assurance while fielding questions from the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Kaduna.
NAN reports that the Kaduna International Trade Fair commenced on Feb. 25, and would end on March 6.
Mr Hassan said adequate security arrangement had been made, involving the Army, Police, State Security Service, SSS, Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority, KASTELLA, and Kaduna State Vigilante Service, KADVIS.
“We are not leaving any stone unturned on the issue of security as several security forces have been deployed on the trade fair ground to secure lives and properties of exhibitors and visitors.
“Before the commencement of the Trade Fair, the Security Committee visited the Police Command in the state and the SSS.
“Other security agencies visited were KADVIS and KASTLEA and they have all fulfilled their pledge of assisting in ensuring security of lives and property,” he said.
Hassan also added that the security committee had engaged the services of fire fighters in case of any emergency.
