Kannywood stars, Ali Nuhu and Adam Zango, on Saturday evening buried the hatchet at a peace meeting brokered by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN, in Kano
The rivalry between the two actors climaxed into litigation, with Ali Nuhu dragging Adam Zango before Upper Shariah Court, Fagge in Kano State, over alleged defamation of his character.
Announcing the peace accord, a former president of MOPPAN, Sani Muazu, posted on his Facebook page that the two actors have finally resolved their differences.
“And finally, the tension that was generated between Ali Nuhu and Adam A Zango that led to insults on social media and a court action has been all resolved under the leadership of MOPPAN in Kano, today,” Mr Muazu wrote.
“The 2 actors, after an exhaustive peace mediation, are seen shaking hands from the realization that their friends, fans and hangers on are the cannon fodders that initiated and sustained the conflict leading to the altercations.
“They really do not have a beef against each other as industry leaders and key players. We pray it all ends here.”
