Kano State House of Assembly on Wednesday screened six commissioners forwarded to it by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Tuesday.
The lawmakers also approved the governor’s request to appoint 25 more Special Advisers.
The nominees were the current chairman of the Kano chapter of Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Ibrahim Muhammad; Aminu Aliyu; Aminu Dan’Amu, Musa Kwankwaso, Aishatu Jaafar and Ahmed Rabiu.
After taking turn to make presentations and answer questions, they were asked to bow and go.
The legislators then went into the Committee of the Whole where they approved their nominations.
