Kano fire service receives 10 false alarms, saves 6 lives, N107m property in 74 incidents

The Kano State Fire Service says it saved six lives and property worth N107 million from 74 fire incidents it recorded in February 2024.
The Public Relations Officer of the agency, Saminu Abdullahi, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Kano.
Mr Abdullahi also said that four persons lost their lives, while property worth N64 million were destroyed by fire during the period.
“The service responded to seven rescue calls and 10 false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.
He advised the general public to handle fire with care.
