Kano Pillars will begin a closed training camp in Kaduna on Thursday ahead of the forthcoming NPFL season.
According media officer of the club Idris Malikawa, the management decided to send the team to Kaduna in order to concentrate on the challenges ahead of them.
Malikawa said the team would remain in Kaduna for their final phase of preparations for the 2016/2017 season and the final list of the team would be released thereafter.
The team will play some friendly matches while in Kaduna.
Coach Kadiri Ikhana said he is expected to leave Kano with all 36 players who have been training with the club.
Ikhana thanked management of the club for accepting his request to go for this close camping and commended the fans of the club for how passionate they are for the club to succeed.
Pillars resumed training Wednesday after the Christmas break with all players in attendance and they trained twice at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
The fans expressed appreciation when they saw a full house of the players during the two training sessions.
