Senators from Kebbi State have commended President Bola Tinubu for initiating the Sokoto-Badagry road project, which is expected to reduce travel time from Lagos to Sokoto/Kebbi from two days to approximately five to six hours.

Adamu Aliero, representing Kebbi Central senatorial district, alongside Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North) and Garba Maidoki (Kebbi South), expressed their gratitude to President Tinubu after a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.

Mr Aliero noted that the road’s significance extended beyond Kebbi, benefiting the entire northern Nigeria by slashing travel time from Sokoto to Lagos to around six hours.
