The Federal University Birnin Kebbi has thrown a public invite to all and sundry to a Seminar on drug abuse titled “The Implication of Drug Abuse: Medical and Sociological Perspectives” on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
A statement signed by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Jamilu Magaji, Monday, said the Seminar is the 19th in the FUBK Seminar Series.

It further stated that the seminar would be jointly presented by the Medical Director, Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Kware, Sokoto; Dr Abdullahi Kangiwa of the Department of Sociology.
It added that a renowned Professor of Sociology and Head of Sociology Department of the institution, Prof. TM Baba would chair the Seminar while the Chief Medical Director who doubles as Associate Professor of Psychiatry would serve as Guest Speaker.
The statement invites members of the academic community, professionals, development partners, youth and women organizations and the public to attend the event at SLH1 Lecture Theatre by 11am.
