The Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, has donated 150 mosquito nets and 50 blankets to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano.

According to the company’s spokesperson, Mohammed Kandi, the gesture is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility toward improving the living condition of its immediate community.

“The gesture is also part of activities to mark the company’s 5th anniversary which was celebrated on the 1st of November, 2018.

“We hope the items will provide succour and curtail the spread of malaria among the beneficiaries in the hospital.

“We are also ready to do more by assisting our host community in every possible way,” Mr Jimeta was further quoted as saying.
