Three of the 11 victims who were abducted at Azzara village in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State have escaped from their abductors’ den.

Recall that the bandits had on December 6 invaded Anguwar Tudu in Azzara village, killing a soldier before abducting 11 villagers.

The victims reportedly escaped on Monday when the bandits dozed off after getting drunk.

Confirming the escape, a resident of the community, Danjumah Saleh, said their relatives had been contacted.

“It was even this morning, around 5am, that the village head of Akilbu called to inform the chief of Azzara that three people who escaped from the bandits are with him,” he said.
