Kidnappers have freed six schoolgirls and two teachers they kidnapped on October 3aEngravers College in Chikun Local Government Area, PREMIUM TIMES has reported

The kidnappers reportedly received N10 million before freeing the girls.

The students and teachers of a were freed late Friday. They have now been taken to the police station and a hospital in Kaduna for medical evaluation.

Some of the parents reportedly expressed joy for seeing their children again.

Authorities of Engravers School are yet to make comments about the release.

A text message sent to the spokesperson of Kaduna State police command had not been responded to at the time of filing this report.
