Kwankwasiyya bloggers renew call for the release of Dadiyata

An online political forum under the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Kwankwasiyya Twitter Guild, has restated their commitment towards securing the release one of their members, Abubakar Idris, popularly known as Dadiyata.

Recall that Mr Dadiyata had been declared missing since August 1, 2019, when he was allegedly abducted at his residence in Barnawa area of Kaduna State.

Speaking during the forum’s maiden summit at the weekend in Kano State, the Chairman of the guild, Abdullahi Ibrahim, pledged to continue giving all forms of support towards securing the release of Mr Dadiyata.

Mr Ibrahim noted that the summit was canvassed to help members of the group network and help improve members intellectually.

He also assured his commitment that more editions of the event would be held in the future.

DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the summit which came under the themed: ‘Stimulating Human Capital Development for a Productive Society; The Kwankwasiyya Approach’ featured two paper presentations and panel sessions.

Faisal Ismail and Umar Farouq Yola (Mai Dattako) presented papers on the emergence of Social Media as the New Cornerstone of Political Discourse and the impact of Human Capital Development to Nation Building respectively.

The Kano State Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 Elections, Aminu Gwarzo, Amina HOD, and other Kwankwasiyya stakeholders were in attendance.
