The presidential candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has cast his vote, saying he is confident of winning the election.
Mr Kwankwaso cast the vote alongside his wife, Salamatu, in his Kwankwaso village, Madobi Local Government area of Kano State.
The candidate arrived Kwankwaso Malamai Ward, Tandu at exactly 11:35 and cast his vote by 11:49am at polling unit 1005.
Speaking to journalists after he cast the vote, Mr Kwankwaso claimed that he is in the right position to emerge victorious at the end of the election.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that there was presence of security agents at the Kwankwaso town as voting was going smoothly as at the time of filing this report.
