Kwankwaso mourns Shehu Azare

A former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has extolled the virtues of a famous businessman in Kano, Shehu Azare, saying the deceased left a vacuum that would be hard to fill.

The late Shehu Azare died on January 8 at the age 93 in Fagge Quarters.

While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, Mr Kwankwaso said the late Shehu-Azare had contributed immensely to the development of Kano State.

He said he was honest businessman with good track-record, community leader and philanthropist per excellent.

Mr Kwankwaso was accompanied by thousands of supporters to the Fagge residence of the deceased and was received by late Azare’s younger brother Ahmed Mohammed Shehu and sons, Bello Shehu-Azare, Mustapha Shehu-Azare and Bashir Shehu-Azare.
