Yinka Egbeyemi, the chairman of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offenses Task Force, has said the state government will crush the 48 motorcycles seized from 123 Northerners on Friday.

A group of petty traders, artisans and commercial motorcycle operators, mostly from Jigawa State, were intercepted by the task force traveling into Lagos in a trailer.

They were later released after the intervention of Jigawa State governor, Badaru Abubakar.
