Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau on Thursday forwarded a N15.2 billion supplementary budget estimate to the State House of Assembly for approval.

The Speaker, Joshua Madaki, who read the request to his colleagues during plenary on Thursday, said that it was in tandem with section 121 of the 1999 constitution as amended.

He explained that in the supplementary budget, more than N6.3 billion would go into recurrent expenditure while capital expenditure would gulp N8.9 billion.
