The MoU was signed by Minister of Education, Musa Muhammad al-Maqrif and WFP Representative/Country Director in Libya, Rawad Halabi, said a statement by the ministry.

The minister praised the WFP’s efforts to support primary and middle school students.

This is confirming that the ministry will follow up and monitor the implementation of the MoU, the statement added.

The MoU will invest in school gardens, nutrition education, micronutrient supplementation and de-worming. (Xinhua/NAN)
