Zamfara State governor, Bello Matawalle, has condoled with Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa over the death of his mother, late Fatima Badami.
Recall that Mr Fintiri’s mother, 68, died on Wednesday in Yola, after a protracted illness.
Mr Matawalle, in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication, Zailani Bappa, said he received the news of the death with great shock, noting, however, that the Will of Allah always suffice.
The governor described the deceased as an astute mother who gave her all for the good of mankind.
“Indeed, we love our mother very much, but Allah loves her most and has taken her away especially in this very sacred and bountiful month of Ramadan,” Mr Matawalle noted.
The governor, therefore, called on Mr Fintiri to bear the pains of “this irreparable loss with great courage”, assuring him that the deceased had returned to her Lord as a fulfilled mother.
“Only Allah can reward her for her efforts in bringing you up to this level in your life.
“On behalf of my family, the government and the good people of Zamfara State, I convey to you our heartfelt condolence. May Allah reward her with the highest abode in jannatil fil daus”, Governor Matawalle stated.
