A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Edwin Uhara has urged Nigerians to take advantage of the new membership registration exercise to become members of the party.
Recall that the APC had begun membership registration and revalidation exercises across the country.
Releasing a statement at the weekend, Mr Uhara stated that the world is now evolving around progressive ideologies.
The APC chieftain, who was a member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in the last presidential election, said only the ruling party has the key to unlocking Nigeria’s potential for greatness.
Mr Uhara, on the other hand, advised the APC leadership to ensure adherence to COVID-19 prevention guidelines put in place by the Federal Governement.
He said the APC should, “ensure that all arrangements for the forthcoming registration and revalidation exercises are in line with the Non-Pharmaceutical measures put in place by the Presidential Task Force for the Control of Covid-19 Pandemic in the country so as to avoid further spread of the virus, especially the B117 strain.’’
Mr Uhara who recently concluded a course at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, UNITAR, promised to mobilize Nigerians to join the party, saying APC has the best blueprint to make Nigeria the envy of all nations.
He also appealed to Nigerians to continue to pray and support President Muhammadu Buhari and his team as they work hard to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty.
