Mighty Jets FC dissolves management, constitutes new officials

The Chairman of the board of patrons and founders, Mighty Jets Football club of Jos, Ali Abubakar Promoter, said the board has also approved the dissolution of the management members of the club.

Mr Promoter made the disclosure in a letter to Governor Simon Lalong, through the office of the State Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development.

Others copied in the letter include the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Nigerian National League, NNL, Plateau State Football Association, PFA, and three other offices.

Obtained by DAILY NIGERIAN in Jos, the letter stated, however, that new management had already been appointed.

According to the letter, Alex Wukari is Chairman of the new management, Baba Otu Muhammad and Usaini Adamu as the 1st and 2nd vice Chairmen respectively.

Former captain and coach of the team, Jedi Dina, is now the General Manager (GM). Danjuma Haruna is to serve as Director of marketing, while Muhammad Jafar is to appointed as Public relations officer (PRO).

Others were Anas Ismaila Mabo, assistant PRO, Gideon Ndam Welfare officer and Ado Talle Mai Pata as Assistant Welfare officer.

He said: “With esteem regard and honour, after due consultation with members of the board of directors and patrons, I wish to notify you of the dissolution of management members of the club.”

Mr Ali-Promoter further said the board also thanked and appreciates, “the financial and moral support the state has been rendering to the club.”
