NAHCON announces 2017 Hajj fares

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, on Saturday announced the 2017 Hajj fares for some states.

The announcements were made at the ongoing State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Agencies and Commissions meeting at NAHCON headquarters in Abuja.
Six states of Kano, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Niger, Kaduna,  and Yobe have so far revealed their hajj package to be paid by intending pilgrims.
The breakdown is as follows: Nasarawa pilgrims N1,544,894.16,; Niger pilgrims N1,525,483.30; Kaduna N1,535,503.68; Kano N1,537,859.97; Adamawa N1,530,101.08 and; Yobe N1,520,101.18.
The packages however include $800 general Basic Travel Allowance, BTA, built into the Hajj fare package at flat rate across the board.
