The identities of the five Nigerian soldiers and members of the Civilian JTF killed by the Islamic State of West Africa, ISWA-backed Boko Haram insurgents have been revealed.

ISWA had on Monday, April1, via AMAQ News Agency, released a video showing a simultaneously execution of five Nigerian soldiers in Borno State.

Ahmad Salkida, a Nigerian journalist known for his reporting on terrorism in the Lake Chad region, revealed the identities of these slain soldiers.

According to him, most of them are from the Nigerian Military but members of the Civilian JTF in Doron Baga, Borno State.

“Most of them are members of the Civilian JTF in Doron Baga. Their names are: Muhammad Na-Allah (from first left) Auwali, Grema and the last is a Naval personnel in the Military. Only one is yet to be named,” Mr Salkida wrote on his Twitter handle.
