Nasarawa NUJ chair, 14 others make Sule’s commissioner nominee list

The Nasarawa State chapter chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, NUJ, Dogo Shmmah is among the 15 commissioner-nominees presented to the State House of Assembly by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The nominees include: Abubakar Kana from Kokona LG, Othman Bala from Keffi LG, Phillip Dada from Karu LG, Ahmed Baba Usman from Toto LG, Obadiah Boy from Akwanga LG, Aliyu Turaki from Awe LG and Haruna Ogbole from Obii LG.

Others are Ibrahim Musa from Doma LG, Abubakar Imam from Lafia LGa, Halima Jabiru from Lafia LGb, Bashir Aliyu from Lafia LGc, fatima Mohamed from Nasarawa LG, Salihu Ahmed from Nasarawa Eggon LG, and Otaki Allahnana from Keana LG.

Presenting the list at the floor of the House, the Majority Leader Tanko Tunga said that state governor was seeking confirmation of these nominees as members of the state executive council.

According to the House, the nominees will be screened on Monday
