The National Assembly has postponed its January 26, 2021 resumption date to enable the All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmakers to partake in the party’s membership registration and revalidation exercise.
Recall that the lawmakers had on December 21, 2020 adjourned plenary till January 26, 2021, for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
But the NASS Clerk, Arc. Ojo Amos, in a statement on Saturday in Abuja, said the resumption date has been postponed to till Tuesday, February 9, 2020.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the APC membership registration and revalidation exercise is scheduled to begin on Monday, January 25, 2020.
