Veteran journalist and Neptune Prime’s Publisher, Dr Hassan Gimba, on Thursday was given an award of excellence by Zuma Times, an online medium.

The award was given to Mr Gimba in Abuja during the launching of Zuma Times magazine and top 100 personalities award.

Speaking during the event, the Publisher/CEO of Zuma Times, Mairo Mudi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to making sure the event was a success.

She explained that the process of picking the “Top Personalities” was indeed cumbersome.

The chairman of the occasion, Dr Usman Al’amin, congratulated all that awardees and the dignitaries who attended the event.

Mr Al’amin explained that the Top Personalities were nominated by the readers of the medium, adding that the names selected were submitted to the Zuma Times Fans Association where positive comments were picked for submission to the main committee for assessment and contact.

The event was attended by some Northern governors and dignitaries ranging from Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum; the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu-Bamalli, though not physically present but were duly represented, and others.
