The Zamfara State governor, Abdulaziz Yari, has approved the appointment of Muhammad Bawa as the new ‘Yandoton Tsafe.
Mr Bawa was appointed the 18th ‘Yandoto of Tsafe, following the death of ‘Yandoto Habibu Aliyu on Wednesday.
A former Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Equalization Fund, the new ‘Yandoto was until his appointment the Yariman Tsafe.
The new traditional ruler, like the 16th and 17th Yandoto, emerged from the ruling house of ‘Yandoto Maikano.
