Gov. Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger on Wednesday approved the appointment of Dr Isah Adamu as the new Chairman, Niger State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB.
A statement by Ibrahim Matane, Secretary to the Government of Niger State, SSG, also disclosed the appointments of Umar Alkali as Member I and Kabiru Abbas as Member II of the board.
He said the appointments was based on merit, proven integrity and outstanding record of performance in their previous assignments.
Matane said that the appointees are expected to bring their knowledge, administrative skills and wealth of experience to bear in the performance of their new assignments.
The new Chairman was the former Executive Secretary, Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
