The Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, has pledged improved service delivery to its customers in Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states.
Making the pledge in a congratulatory message to its customers over the country’s 61st independence anniversary, Managing Director of KEDCO, Dr Jamil Isyaku-Gwamna said measures were being taken to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
The Managing Director, who issued the message through KEDCO’s Head of Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani-Shamaki, felicitated with the customers for their contribution to the sustenance of the Nigerian project.
According to him, the collective efforts of Nigerians in sustaining the unity of the country has made it imperative for all citizens to celebrate.
“It is in that light we felicitate all our customers and wish them happy celebration,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to use the opportunity presented by the occasion, to promote peace and harmony in their respective homes and places of work.
Mr Isyaku-Gwamna however reminded customers of the desirability to maintain COVID-19 protocols while celebrating .
