The Gambian Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Ousman A. Bah, has said that Nigeria is lucky to have Prof. Isa Ali-Pantami as its Minister of Communications and Digital Economy.

Mr Bah made the assertion on Friday when he led members of his delegation on a courtesy visit to Mr Pantami at his office in Abuja.

While praising his counterpart for his giant strides in Nigeria, the minister described his visit as adventurous.

He said: “After being in the west for 32 years, I have seen a lot, but coming to Nigeria is like my first class in MBA.

“The supervisory leadership in Nigeria’s digital economy sector is unprecedented, Pantami is a leader with a vision and a purpose, a purpose with a destiny, and a destiny with an address, he is exceptional,” the Gambia minister said.

Mr Bah, who was among the dignitaries that attended the 2022 Digital Nigeria Day, said the visit was aimed at deepening the existing bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Gambia.

The minister added that the visit would also allow the Gambian delegation to understudy Africa’s largest digital economy, Nigeria.
