The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has declared one of its Alpha-Jets missing during an interdiction mission in the Boko Haram stronghold of Borno State.

The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Edward Gabkwet, made the disclosure in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

According to him, the jet lost contact with radar while supporting the ground troops in the ongoing onslaught against the insurgents.
