The troops of 151 Battalion, 21 Brigade of the Nigerian Army on Saturday recovered food supplies from Boko Haram.
The recovery was made after the troops ambushed Boko Haram terrorists at Mayanti village while on patrol along Mayanti- Banki Junction road.
Spokesman for the Nigerian Army, Sani Usman, said the troops killed 1 of the terrorists, while others sustained gun shot wounds.
He said they recovered 10 bicycles, 9 bags of flour, 9 sachets of yeast, 2 bags of groundnut, packets of Maggi, a carton of detergent, 23 bottles of groundnut oil.
Others include palm oil, a wrist watch, 50 sachets of salt, assorted drugs, 16 torchlights, 29 packs of cold patch and cash sum of N2,260.
