The Presidential candidate of the National Interest Party, NIP, Eunice Atuejide, has withdrawn from the race.

Disclosing this in a statement, Mrs Atuejide noted that she stepped down from the election because her race for the presidency was programmed to end on February 16 “and it did.”

Mrs Atuejide, in the same statement obtained by Premium Times, said that she would support the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar because of his choice of VP.

His exemplary leadership as Governor of Anambra State led me and several of my team members to politics.”
