Preparations have been completed for the first edition of Bailey’s Bake Festival. It has as theme ‘BakeOff,’ and is billed to hold Monday, June 26. The one-day extravaganza of baking, music and family fun is aimed at showcasing the various ways to enjoy treats -cocktails, pastries, desserts and more – with a dash of Bailey’s.
Organisers have promised guests an amazing experience in live music, games, master classes and great food/drinks and Bailey’s infused treats.
Meanwhile, Funke Akindel-Bello, Waje, Alex Ekubo and Mai Atafo have been unveiled as the celebrities to team up with emerging pastry makers to create delicious treats. The celebrities will compete against each other as teams, with the highest combined points generated by the special panel of judges emerging winner.
Bailey’s Brand Manager, Ufuoma Udjoh, said, the Bailey’s bakefest idea was borne out of a need to project Bailey’s brand beyond the straight–to-glass drink, hence the chefs and their celebrity partners will be making delicious treats with an infusion of Bailey’s. As always, bakeoff is also aimed at spreading the warmth and unapologetic pleasure the brand stands for while suggesting the need to seize the day and be unafraid to live the moment.
Those who do not take alcohol have nothing to worry about, as there will also be non-alcoholic drinks as well as other consumables.
