The National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association, NOUNAA, has elected Sani Kila, an immigration officer, as its new national president.

Mr. Kila emerged as the new president alongside Mr. Joseph Chinedu who was elected as the secretary of the association at a delegate conference held in Kaduna.

The new president, in his remarks, pledged to take the association to greater heights so that it can be a pride to all its members, adding that he would work with other officials to ensure improved study centres in the university.

Mr. Kila described his emergence as the fruit of hard work, saying during his tenure “regular meetings and innovative events will be held, while accountability and transparency with the fear of God will be the association’s guideline.”
