nPDP fixes date for leaving APC

The new Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP, a faction of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, says it has concluded plans to stay or leave the party.

The leader of the group, Kawu Baraje, in a statement on Sunday, said the group has finalised consultations and will come out with their stand next week.

He noted that whatever decision announced will be one that will seek to promote the well-being of the Nigerian masses.

DAILY NIGERIAN learn that members of the group who will come to decision by weekend are Mr Baraje, Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Speaker House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara and Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal among others.
