The leaderships of the National Youth Congress, NYC, and Nigeria Youth Parliament, NYP, have confered an award of excellence on a top player in the oil and gas industry, Mustapha Abdullahi.
The conferment was announced in a statement sent to DAILY NIGERIAN on Sunday, the Nigeria Youth Initiative for Good Governance, NYIGG, in Abuja.
According to the statement, Mr Abdullahi was presented with an African Achiever Award” by the top echelons of NYC and NYP led by its Speaker, Azeezat Yishawu and President of Nigerian Youth Congress, Blessing Akinlosotu at a ceremony in Abuja.
In his remarks, the NYC President noted that Mr Abdullahi was recognized for his outstanding accomplishments in the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria, coupled with his numerous philanthropic gestures to Nigerian youth at large.
In his reaction, the awardee thanked the organizers for finding him worthy for the award.
Mr Abdullahi stressed that the award would spur him to do more for the Oil and Gas industry to grow the economy.
He, therefore, pledged to empower the youths and provide mentorship to the younger generation.
