With not less than 100 days to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Relays in Yokohama, the Local Organising Committee (LOC) has revealed the official logo for the event.
IAAF said on its website on Thursday that the blue colour in the logo symbolises the host city, Yokohama and its surrounding ocean and seaport.
It said that the seaport was a gateway for visitors from all over the world, while the red represented the rising sun.

The LOC has also launched its official social media channels which are Twitter handle: @IAAFYokohama19, Instagram account: @IAAFYokohama19 and Facebook account: @IAAFYokohama19
The IAAF World Relays are scheduled for May 11 and May 12 at the International Stadium in Yokohama.
