Two Igbo groups, the Igbo Peoples Congress and the Igbo Aborigines have declared the Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha as a Political buffoon and jester for having been running the state like a family government with anti-people policies.
A statement jointly signed by the spokesmen of the groups, Okey Colbert and Chidi Obisike registered their disappointments, saying Mr Okorocha should have been the Governor of a banana state in a banana country, not Imo state.
According to them, the state has a horde of intellectuals and intelligent people who could not stand the governor’s show of shame.
The group lamented that despite the shouting and lamentations of Imo people over the rulership of terror by Mr Okorocha, President Muhammadu Buhari did not deem it fit for one day to query the eccentric Governor.
The groups asked Imo people to disgrace Rochas Okorocha at the polls and ensure his unpopular choice for Imo governorship race in 2019 is also disgraced.
