A former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh on Monday morning collapsed in court shortly after his case was called on Monday.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that Mr Metuh is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for the N400m he allegedly received from the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.
The incident happened about 9:01 am in the courtroom when he was making his way to the dock for his resumed trial.
Reacting, the presiding judge, Okon Abang, stood down the matter to enable the former PDP spokesman receive medical attention.
