Sunny Ibeh Jnr, the Publisher of an online media company, Meridian Spy, has published a new book titled ‘Against The Tides’.
The book was officially unveiled on Friday in Abuja in a close-door event attended by a few invitees comprising young media entrepreneurs and journalists.
In his remarks, the author noted that the work is a compendium of facts on the history of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, taking a cue from the Chinonso Obasi’s administration as the NANS national president.
He said: “At this juncture, let me conclude by saying that the work before us today is my own modest contribution in evaluating the chequered history of the NANS, with strategic references to the Nigerian political history, Africa’s continental history, and of course, the evaluation of student unionism in the world.”
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the book comprises 11 chapters with 348 pages.
In the book, referential analyses were made to the world wars; The Oslo Peace Accord, The Camp David Accord, Treaty of Versailles, American democracy, and cognate political activities and personalities in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
However, Mr Ibeh had launched his first-ever book, “The Master Plan” in November 2020 in a virtual event attended by dignitaries across the country.
