The Federal Government has again raised the alarm over the increase in the use of fake news and disinformation to destabilise the electoral process and plunge the nation into crisis.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed said the worrisome trend was being perpetrated by destabilising agents, some of them linked to the opposition.

Mr Mohammed made this known on Tuesday in Abuja at the 21st edition of the President Muhammadu Buhari’ (PMB) Administration Scorecard Series, 2015-2023.
