A former vice president Atiku Abubakar has visited a former governor of Kano State Rabiu Kwankwaso at his Abuja residence on Tuesday.

Mr Abubakar was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Mr Kwankwaso was the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP candidate in the 2023 presidential election.

Although details of the meeting was not made public, sources said it might not be unconnected with the PDP’s efforts to reconcile with its former aggrieved members.
