President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday arrived Ekiti State for the All Progressives Congress mega rally, ahead of the state’s governorship election scheduled for July 14.
The mega rally is to canvass for votes for the party’s candidate in the election, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
The rally, holding at Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, has in attendance APC chieftains such as Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, Segun Osoba, SSA to the President on Foreign Relations & Diaspora, Abike Dabiri, Secretary to the Federal Government, Boss Mustapha, Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Dambazau (rtd), and Senator Andy Ubah.
Buhari arrived in the company of Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Ayodele Fayose had sent a strong warning to Mr Buhari not to waste a minute further after his campaign for the candidate of his party, Mr Fayemi today.

The governor said this while addressing some PDP stakeholders early on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said any attempt for the president or any of his entourage to stay a bit back in the state would spell a big doom for them.
“I am the commander in Chief of Ekiti State just like Buhari is also a commander in Chief in Abuja. I was elected like him and he too was elected.

“Let them come, campaign and go back to Abuja immediately after that. I am saying expressly that if Buhari or any of his team should stay back in the state a minute further after their campaigns, it will spell a serious doom for them.
“I have told my people to watch out for a sign that will happen to them tomorrow. I will talk to Ekiti people by 8 o’clocktonight on BSES. I will give you the update of what we are doing. Stay tuned,” he stressed.
