Several pictures sent to DAILY NIGERIAN on Wednesday indicated that the youths of Dapchi town have saluted and shaken hands with Boko Haram terrorists, following the return of over 100 schoolgirls abducted on February 19.
Multiple accounts of locals and security agents show that the terrorists stormed the town around 7:30am on Wednesday and left amid cheers without hurting anybody.
The freed girls have been profiled and taken to Maiduguri for onward movement to Abuja.
DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to meet with freed schoolgirls at the Presidential Villa.
