The Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC, Jelani Aliyu, has visited the Sokoto-based sports car designer, Abdullahi Waziri.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the 25-year-old Waziri is building what could be described as a Made-in-Nigeria metal Lamborghini he started designing in 2017.
The project which he single-handedly designed and built from scratch is at 80% completion.
Mr Waziri, a graduate of Urban and Regional Planning from the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria, hails from Bodinga Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
He had launched an automotive company named Xaman Automotive NG in 2018.
While inspecting the progress in the car design, Mr Jelani expressed his joy on how Nigerian youths are gradually taking their rightful place in nation building.
Mr Jelani, therefore, promised to support Mr Waziri to achieve his dreams.
DAILY NIGERIAN reports that the 21st Century Entrepreneurs Hub, had also pledged support and mentorship for Mr Waziri till completion of his project.
