A former Governor of Plateau, Jonah Jang, says he has not endorsed any governorship aspirant on the platform Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for 2023 general elections.
Jang stated this on Thursday in Jos at PDP grand rally for the Saturday by-election for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency and Pankshin South state Constituency.
The former governor said that he would not endorse anyone but work with whoever the people elect during primaries.
He expressed optimism that the party would return Plateau government in 2023.
Jang stated that the party would not allow anyone to rig PDP out, urging people vote massively for PDP and monitor their votes.
The former governor urged party to embark on vigorous but peaceful campaigns.
He lauded Sen. Iyorchia Ayu led National Working Committee of PDP for stabilising and refocusing the party for gratefulness.
Another former governor of Plateau, Fidelis Tapgun, told the people that reclaiming power starts with winning the by-election.
