Police arrested a 23-year-old man in Kiyawa Local Government Area of Jigawa on Monday over alleged theft of three cows.
Police spokesman in Jigawa, DSP Lawan Shiisu, stated on Tuesday in Dutse that the suspect allegedly stole the cows, estimated to cost N1.2 million in broad daylight.
He added that upon receipt of complaints from the owners of the cows, the suspect was traced and he admitted that he received the cows from another person still at large.
Shiisu added that the suspect would be arraigned upon completion of investigation.
