Police arrest Sowore, other IPOB supporters in Abuja

Officers of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested the MovementNow campaigner and 2019 Presidential candidate of AAC, Omoyele Sowore, in Abuja.

Mr Sowore was arrested on Monday at the Federal High Court, Abuja, the venue of the trial of the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Others arrested included some members of the proscribed group.

Some of the arrested IPOB members were putting on Jewish apparel and chanting songs in support of Mr Kanu and demanding his freedom.
