Policemen have been drafted to the office of the National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS, in Abuja following a planned protest by the staff of the agency over the reinstatement of the Executive Secretary, Usman Yusuf.
Mr Yusuf, professor, was reinstated by president Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, February 6.
Mr Yusuf was suspended in June 2017 by the Minister of Health, Issac Adewole, following allegations of gross misconduct.
