Popular comedian Bovi flaunted a blood-stained #EndSARS t-shirt at the 2021 Headies award show on Sunday.
The 14th edition of the Headies awards was held virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
At the night when #EndSars protesters were allegedly shot, Nigerian youths flaunted a flag allegedly stained with blood.
The outfit generated comments from Nigerians who believe the comedian was passing a silent message.
A twitter user identified as ‘Benue Breed’ said: “Bovi passed a strong message at the Headies award with this shirt, we can’t forget the victims of the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre!! #14thHeadies #EndSARS”
While another user ‘Steven and 14 Others’ said: “Kudos to Bovi for wearing the #EndSARS shirt, let’s keep asking them about Lekki Toll gate! #14thHeadies”
